David Alan McConnell's music is timeless and classic. His education in music was in Guitar with a minor in Choral Directing. His music is strongly Jazz influenced but is versatile enough to be Jazz or Pop or many other genres. Think Michael Buble to James Taylor.
McConnell studied guitar with classical master, Rey de la Torre who was a protege of Miguel Llobet, Segovia's instructor (though Segovia insisted he was purely self-taught). It is McConnell's guitar you hear on every selection.
David also had one other surprising talent: he was a human trumpet. Every song that you hear a trumpet on is actually McConnell, except for "That's what Christmas Means". Have a listen and see if you can hear the difference.
