Drew is a multi-faceted, talented artist of considerable musical sensibilities. Not being content with confining himself to defined roles in the musical process, he is an active participant along each elaborate step. Drew's musical resume reads: 'songwriter/producer/remixer/programmer/engineer/arranger/vocalist/performer'.
Drew has spent his life honing his talents & using them to vent his personal experiences as well as to sate his creative needs. His determination, focus & desire to constantly fine tune his talents took him from, trudging through the far corners of the London pub & club scene, where he consistently received positive feedback, to moving into a more stable career as a respected & successful dance & pop/AC writer/producer/remixer working from his self built London studio.
The eclectic nature of his musical tastes & talent have landed Drew various musical projects where he wore the cap of both producer & songwriter. He achieved success as the euro-dance production duo 'North On 41' scoring several international license deals.
Drew's 'Hurley & Todd' collaboration, 'Sunstorm' using the Elton John 'Song For Guy' piano sample was a top 40 hit in the UK singles chart & with 'Crazy World' & 'Fly Away', featured on several of Telstar's EUPHORIA compilations. ‘Crazy World’ features on Ministry of Sound’s ‘Mash Up EUPHORIA 2009’.
Drew, aka 'Kool De Sac', has also focussed on his tight contemporary pop & dance productions & strong song-writing sensitivities as well as remixing mainstream artists. His track 'Let It Go!' was featured in the movie; 'National Lampoon's Van Wilder' which generated enormous interest. His successful remix credits include; Steps, Liberty X, Ian Van Dahl, H & Claire. Drew has co-written with Peter Cunnah (D:Ream) & Nasirov.
Drew also writes/produces sound beds for film/video projects.
However, his heart lies in writing/singing quality timeless songs with spiritual depth, message, melody & meaning.
