Erik wrote, performed and produced his debut self- released full length album "Morning In Paradise." The indie folk rock album takes listeners on a journey from the early hours of ‘Morning’ on the first track to the late hours of the day on the closing track. Each song depicts a specific time and mood with textures and inspiration drawn from folk, blues, jazz and R & B.

The album features musicians, mixing and mastering from professionals with album credits with artists such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Rufus Wainwright, Ben Harper and Amos Lee.

Several songs from "Morning In Paradise" have been licensed for film and tv. "Don't Say Goodbye" was recently heard on ABC's "Eli Stone" and “Invisible Blues” is in the feature film “The Vicious Kind”(2009) starring J.K. Simmons (from “Juno” and “Burn After Reading”) and Brittany Snow (from “Prom Night” and “American Dreams”).

Erik is also currently writing music for various film projects. Recent highlights include writing and producing a song for the film "13" (2010) starring Mickey Rourke and Jason Statham, which will be in theaters later this year.

Erik also wrote and produced original songs and score including the main title & end title for the Lionsgate feature film The Man Who Came Back (2008) starring Eric Braeden, Billy Zane, Armande Assante and Academy Award winning actor George Kennedy). Erik plays guitar, bottleneck guitar and banjo throughout the entire score, and regularly performs at venues in Los Angeles and throughout California.
