FUE Alternative Rock/Pop FUE (pronounced “few”) is an alternative indie rock/pop band from DeKalb, IL. FUE began in 2009 as a group of friends playing together and over time evolved into their own unique original style of music. Their music blends the power of modern alt while capturing your ear through the intense emotional vocals of lead singer Joanna Rutzky. The band is rounded out with Isaac Flex on bass and brothers Tim and Aaron May playing guitar and more... drums, respectively. FUE has spent the past several years playing shows at festivals, schools, churches, bars, and music venues throughout the U.S. sharing the positive message and energy of their music with a larger audience. In 2011, FUE was voted to be part of the new band showcase at the Cornerstone Festival and the band was featured on the festival's main stage. In 2012, FUE was selected from nearly 400 bands to be part of the Extreme Tour, the band's first national tour. During the summer of 2013, the Resist the Fear-Pursue the Dream Tour played nearly 30 shows in six states, including headlining at Nashville's historic 12th & Porter music venue. FUE has headllined shows at Hard Rock Cafe facilities throughout th Midwest and was featured as part of the HR's 2014 PINKTOBER cancer awareness event.
