Timing is everything, and so it is in the case of John T. Mudd and Brad Dale, who combined efforts and influences to create Ishi. Pulling sounds ranging from organic to electronic, John and Brad merged their respective musical sounds, to create a unique and uplifting sound that has come to be known as indie electronic. The process has been evolving for the past several years, and through the addition of guitar player Rocky Ottley and drummer Jonathan Merla, the band's more... live presence was fleshed out and amped up. Known for their compelling energy and ability to get Dallas's notoriously somber crowds moving, Ishi has gained a much deserved reputation as being a promising new act, touted by the local press as "the largest drawing band in Dallas."
