Singer-Songwriter Jeffrey David Goldford began his musical journey while attending the University of Kansas, playing in "frat rock" bands. Upon his departure from Kansas, Goldford moved to Austin, TX where his band, the Everyday People quickly distinguished themselves in the world famous live music city with their unique blend of soulful rock tunes.

As a self taught guitarist and vocalist, his soulful and melodic voice hooks audiences throughout the country. His can best be described as the love child of Michael McDonald and John Mayer. "You can't help but tap your feet, slap your knees and nod your head when listening to Jeffrey David. And you can't help but think, feel and love this groovy soulful rock singer." - Dave Terpeny, KyndMusic. In the summer of 2009, Jeffrey was convinced to try out of American Idol. Fairing very well in America's most popular television show, Goldford advanced past three rounds of competition to the top 50 on American Idol. With only 18 guys remaining for 12 spots, Jeffrey was eliminated from American Idol. “Hindsight”, His first solo EP was released in early 2010 and generated considerable local buzz.
As Jeffrey records his first solo full-length album, look for big things to come from this new talent.
