Artist Profile - Symon's New Blue Diamonds

Symon Michael is a tenor sax player / film composer who has lived and worked in San Francisco for over 30 years. He is classically trained and was a highly visible player in the Bay Area punk/funk scene of the early eighties. Currently recording and performing with sextet 'Symon's New Blue Diamonds', his composing style blends elements of traditional jazz, AM radio pop music, and classic punk sensibilities within a framework of modern funk drum orchestrations.
