After an extremely successful debut, Chicago based music fest North Coast Music Festival is returning for its second year. The folks behind the fest have put together their own version of battle of the bands under the name “Toast of the Coast.” The battle hopes to seek out one DJ, one MC and one band to join the dozens of other acts hitting the stage over the Labor Day weekend. After a round of fan voting, we’re proud to note Music Dealers artists Blah Blah Blah and The Right Now are two of the ten finalists selected by the people to participate in this year’s contest.
“Toast of the Coast” will be held at The Mid (306 N. Halsted) on Wednesday, July 20th. The 21+ event is FREE with doors opening at 8PM, show at 9PM. More details surrounding the battle can be found over at Do312.com. Notable North Coast headliners include Wiz Khalifa, Common, Thievery Corporation, Fat Boy Slim, Bassnectar, David Guetta, STS9 and more. Music Dealers artist Prob Cause is also featured on this year’s line-up.
Join us, as Music Dealers staff will be on hand to cheer everyone on!
