Music Dealers Supports The Chicago Music Scene At Global Mixx Music & Film Forum 221 words · 2 minute read

This past weekend, Music Dealers’ very own Jeffery David, Director of Strategy & Business Development, and Lyndsey Ager, Director of Communications, were invited to attend the 8th annual Global Mixx Music & Film Forum in Chicago.

Global Mixx is a national entertainment conference that integrates educational seminars, workshops, live showcases, and industry resources. This event invites industry executives from around the country to share with attendees the best methods of building their brand value and economic status within the music and entertainment business.

While there, Jeffery and Lyndsey were both interviewed by Urbangrindtv.com. Jeffery was also interviewed by Intellectual Radio, an internet radio talk show, and discussed what Music Dealers does, the thriving music landscape in Chicago, and how Chicago has grown to become a major hub within the music industry.

Later, Jeffery moderated a panel entitled, “Image is Everything and Branding is Key,” with other great music industry professionals. The panelists included Ella Britton Gibson-Managing Director of Lime Green LLC, Regina Daniels-President of Daniels Entertainment Group, Kevin McFall-VP of Digital at Johnson Publishing, and Kevin Shrine-CEO of The F.I.R.M.

Congratulations to Mary Datcher, the founder of the conference, on another successful Global Mixx Music & Film Forum. It was a great day of bringing together music and film, and Music Dealers was happy to support.
