Artist of the Month: The Gromble 198 words · 1 minute read

A pop rock quintet from the beaches of Cali, The Gromble infuses the sunny optimism of their hometown with a glitch sentimentality to form a truly unique sound. The up-and-coming act was nominated for best new artist at the annual OC Music Awards and for an Independent Music Award for their last EP, earning them some well-earned beach credo along the West Coast and beyond.

Summery beach pop with an alt-folk influence, the music of The Gromble is both fun and endearing. The band’s name, inspired by one of the main characters on the ‘90s Nickelodeon show Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, reflects the humor and nostalgia inherent in their sound.

The band is set to release their debut album, Jayus, in February 2016 to high anticipation – anyone looking for harmonious melodies and electronic tinkering should look to these West Coast rockers while the time is ripe.
